Airsource was founded in 2003 as CB Cubed Limited by a group of friends who thought they were facing impending unemployment at the hands of their existing employers. But one thing led to another - companies were bought and the threat of unemployment faded into a distant memory - and it wasn't until late 2005 that two of that group decided that it really was time to get out and do something else.

Nick Clarey is CEO and Director of Airsource. He moved to Cambridge in 1999 and has fallen in love with the place. When he's not writing software and hobnobbing with customers, Nick can be found leading a youth group or getting hot and sweaty on the hockey pitch in his goalkeeping kit.

Before joining Airsource, Nick worked for Qualcomm, variously as Professional Services Project Architect, and as a Staff Engineer on the Trigplayer development team. If you've used or played with the uiOne SDK then you have used his code. Prior to working at Qualcomm, he was one of the team that founded Trigenix way back in 2000. Immediately after university, Nick worked for Motorola as a software engineer as part of the Motorola Australia Software Centre in Sydney, Australia. Nick holds a BSc in Computer Science and a BA (Hons) in English from University of New South Wales. Nick is married with 2 kids, both of whom have way too much energy.

Ben Blaukopf is CTO and Director of Airsource. A long time Cambridge resident, Ben went to high school, University and has spent almost his entire working life in this town. Ben uses his spare time to run marathons and climb mountains, but when he can be convinced to sit still for long enough, Ben establishes the architecture and oversees software production activities for Airsource.

Ben previously worked at Qualcomm as a Staff Engineer on the Trigplayer development team - all the way back to version 1.0. Prior to Qualcomm, Ben worked at Cambridge Consultants. Ben holds a MEng and MA (Cantab) from Cambridge University, where he was at Trinity College. Ben is married with no kids, dog or cat.
